We are thrilled to share with you the grand opening of the sensory room at The Broadway! The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on May 22nd, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to creating inclusive and welcoming spaces for all visitors.

This tranquil haven, designed specifically for our neurodivergent visitors, is the result of a fruitful partnership with Bradford Council and the Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust. Located near The Hub, our sensory room is the largest in Bradford, offering a serene environment with soothing mood lighting, interactive mirrors, a musical hand and touch wall, and unique sensory experiences such as an LED colour curtain and an acoustic bed.

To celebrate the launch, we hosted a free sensory workshop from 11 am to 5 pm on the opening day. Shoppers had the opportunity to engage in fun, hands-on activities, making slime and sensory bottles to take home as a reminder of their experience.

We are delighted to offer this new space and look forward to welcoming our neurodivergent community to explore and benefit from the sensory room at The Broadway.
