VISITOR CODE
OF CONDUCT

Welcome to The Broadway, which is a family friendly shopping centre. To ensure a positive experience for our visitors, we just ask that you follow a few simple house rules as listed below.

 For everyone’s safety please

  • Leave your bikes, roller blades, electric scooters, micro scooters, roller skates or any other similar products outside of the centre
  • Do not play ball games even if you are a premier league footballer in training
  • Do not climb or sit on balustrades, barriers, railings or fencing
  • Smoke or vape outside and off the premises

For the benefit of others please

  • Keep covered up – shirts/tops and footwear must be worn
  • Remove your hoods or crash helmets, we keep the centre nice and warm
  • Keep an eye on your children, we love you to bring them and then take them home with you when you leave
  • Do not bring your animals unless they are registered to provide you with assistance
  • Ask us first if you want to film or take photos of our lovely centre
  • Only use our food court to consume food that you have purchased in the centre
  • Do not gather in large groups, some people will find this intimidating and the centre is for everyone
  • Do not leaflet, canvas or conduct interviews or surveys anywhere within the centre

Good behaviour and good manners are important to us, so please

  • Do not swear, shout or use unpleasant language
  • Put your litter in the bins provided
  • Follow instructions if we ask you to do something – our reasons will be valid
  • Respect our property, any vandalism to our property or that of our retailers will not be tolerated
  • Do not be confrontational, threatening or violent as this behaviour will lead to exclusion from the centre
  • Do not consume alcohol anywhere in the centre other than premises that hold a relevant licence and within the boundaries of the premises where it has been purchased

And finally

  • Selling goods without our permission is not allowed anywhere in the centre, either internally or externally
  • We do not permit busking anywhere in the centre, either internally or externally, unless agreed in advance

Please remember that The Broadway is private property and as such we reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who chooses not to behave as requested.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to read our code of conduct.

Enjoy your Visit
