Broadway is proud to be part of Bradford Festival, bringing a fantastic programme of free performances to the centre across the festival weekend.
Here’s what you can expect:
Dragon Bikes by Cecil Green Arts
Using the natural mechanism of the bicycle to bring life to the puppets, these dragons can nearly fly. Watch as the puppet bikes weave through and interact with the audience. Created by Cecil Green Arts and inspired by the puppet makers of Minneapolis, USA, these ‘artbikes’ bring art to cycling and fun to performance.

Tandoori Tunes by Punjabi Beats
Tandoori Tunes is a vibrant, interactive musical experience inspired by the energy of Indian street food.
Blending live dhol drumming and melodies with an Indian twist, each act is delivered in short, high-impact bursts. Bright costumes, infectious rhythms and spontaneous audience engagement create a lively, immersive atmosphere. Tandoori Tunes delivers a colourful fusion of music, culture and street food spirit that surprises and delights audiences of all ages.

Emergency Exit by ADHOK
Seven actors between 60 and 80 offer a promenade of theatre and dance that is poetic, non-narrative and conceived for the street, highlighting our perception of old age, the fears it carries and the treasures it hides.
This theatrical and choreographic performance plays within the urban environment, using its spaces and architecture to explore ageing through movement and performance.

Windbags by Ronan McMahon
Windbags are parading unmissable inflatable wonders. Catch their walkabout performance for all ages as new things and new meetings physically inflate them into elaborate, awkward and beautiful shapes.
