We use a wide range of traditional and cutting-edge security measures to keep you safe.  These include:

○ 24-hour manned CCTV and Security Officers with body-worn Cameras

○ ANPR vehicle checks

○ CSAS accredited officers

○ Internal, external and car park patrols

○ Access control systems and intruder alarms

 

We love to work closely with many local and national partners, including our local Neighbourhood Policing Team. We are regularly supported by Police Officers and PCSOs on site. As part of our ongoing training, all of our team members undertake annual See, Check and Notify (SCaN) training with Counter Terrorism Police North East, as well as Action Counters Terrorism Awareness.

 

You can help us by reporting anything that seems off. Trust your instincts and let us handle the rest. If you see something suspicious, tell a member of our Security Team or call the confidential Anti-Terrorist Hotline at 0800 789 321. In an emergency, always call 999.

Project Servator

We also work closely with West Yorkshire Police’s specially trained officers as part of the Project Servator initiative.

Together we use a range of security tactics to help keep people safe and allow everyone to enjoy visiting events at the Centre.

The officers will be on site during matches, but this is nothing to worry about. Feel free to talk to them if you want to find out more.

 

Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS)

Security staff at the Centre have been given extra powers through the Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS).

Through working in partnership with the Police, the scheme provides an additional uniformed presence in communities to help reduce criminality and anti-social behaviour.
